Mile End Campus Year 7 – 12+

Temple Christian College has a strong culture of wellbeing which is underpinned by our strong Christian values and understanding of what it is to be the body of Christ. We believe that the social and emotional wellbeing of each individual student is key to educating the whole person in pursuing personal excellence.

The information contained within this section is specifically relevant to the Temple Christian College Mile End Campus. Our school calendar closely follows the South Australian Schools Term Dates with four terms, traditionally commencing on a Monday morning at 8.30am. Life at Temple Christian College features a number of key events each term which are clearly outlined within our Calendar of Events.

Located in the metropolitan area of Adelaide (3km from the City Centre), the Mile End Campus is a well-developed and resourced facility incorporating the iconic ‘Thomas Hardy & Sons building’ situated on James Congdon Drive. Easily accessible by both public and private transport, the Mile End Campus offers schooling to students and families living across Adelaide. With a passion to support all subject areas with the latest in equipment and technology, Temple Christian College is driven with the desire that all families can bring their child to school with the confidence that their personal strengths will be supported.

Every year level at Temple Christian College has been allocated a specific booklist via the Campion Resources List 2023. It is important that all students obtain the necessary books as identified on their year level booklist prior to the start of the new school year or prior to commencing at Temple Christian College.

Our desire at Temple Christian College is to help our student’s transition from children to responsible young adults, well equipped and prepared for both the rewards and the challenges that lie ahead of them. Under the thoughtful leadership of the Principal, Temple Christian College has established a number of specific policies relating to the day to day leadership, management and administration of the school campus.

All students attending Temple Christian College are required to wear the official School Uniform to and from School, during the School day, when participating in School sport and when attending any formal School functions. The campus uniform shop stocks, and is able to source, all of the elements that are required for all of the uniform requirements featuring items for summer, winter, sport and dance. 

Temple Christian College takes out a Student Accident Protection Plan Gold with Ambulance Extension cover for all students attending the Mile End Campus through AON Insurance. 

Our passion at Temple Christian College is to foster effective communication that empowers and updates all of our community with timely, relevant and informative content. In addition to the extensive information provided within our Campus websites, outlined below are just some of the key communication tools used to keep parents and caregivers up to date with all of the core activities taking place in the life of the school.

Every year Temple Christian College holds Semester exams at the end of Term 2 and Term 4. The information contained within the year level tabs below features valuable information and key dates relating to the semester exams which is updated on a regular basis to provide students and parents/caregivers with all the necessary information.
