Our Pathways For Growth
As sister schools, sharing a common membership with Adelaide Christian Schools, both Sunrise Christian School and Temple Christian College (Mile End Campus) share the same ‘closed enrolment policy’ that enables students to maintain and develop across all levels of their academic, personal and spiritual growth with the same nurture and support that comes from an authentic Christian community.
With over 35 years' experience, both Sunrise Christian School and Temple Christian College provide South Australian families with a pathway of education that offers students the unique opportunity to seamlessly transition across each stage of their educational development from Early Learning to the completion of Year 12 across a number of locations.
Since January 2019, the education pathway for students attending the Sunrise Christian School Marion Campus is as follows:
• Primary School - Reception to Year 6 at Sunrise Christian School Marion
• Middle School - Year 7 to Year 9 at Temple Christian College Middle School operating within the Sunrise Christian School Marion
• Senior School – Year 10 to Year 12 at Temple Christian College Mile End Campus

Our Diverse Learning Program
At Temple Christian College the Diverse Learning Department works with those students at the extremities of the learning spectrum; those requiring additional support and those needing extensions. At all of our schools, we acknowledge that students do not all have the same needs when it comes to learning. In any class, the abilities of students as learners will vary and it is our passion to work with students, teachers & parents to promote the inclusion of all students in school activities, both in and out the classroom.
Our well-established Diverse Learning Department located at the Mile End Campus consists of teachers and educational support officers. We look forward being able to utilise these specialist resources as we work closely with the school leadership at the Marion Middle School to support students’ academic and social endeavours.
Our Reporting Approach
Temple Christian College remains one of the few schools that has maintained a reporting system that marks students work out of 100. We believe that this approach gives an accurate measure of how a student is performing in every given area at all times and has enabled us to develop a grade point average system that helps students to develop an awareness of their potential final senior results during their middle years.
This transparent reporting approach helps students accurately identify their progress, areas of strength as well as highlights the areas that they may be having challenges so that they can make good decision for their future.
Equally as important, Temple Christian College seeks to encourage, report and celebrate each student attitude achievements which we consider to be just as important as their academic success.
